YTF - The Movie
Port Rhombus was brought in to reimagine the visual identity of Yesterday Today Forever (YTF) – an independent film rooted in faith, redemption, and cultural realism. The project began as a logo redesign and evolved into a full creative partnership, spanning branding, packaging, and digital rollout.
Creative Direction Meets Theology
We began with full narrative immersion, diving into the film’s script, early promotional materials, and musical themes. YTF is a declaration of continuity between sacrifice and salvation. This insight shaped our design system.
The final YTF logo blends ancient symbolism with contemporary grit. Each letter was conceptualized to resemble hand-hewn wooden crosses, weathered and raw, evoking both crucifixion and resilience. Built using a hybrid method (AI image generation + hand-drawn feedback loops), we emphasized:
-Rawness of wood texture
-Iconic cruciform structure
-Lighting and grain detail to evoke both suffering and resurrection
