Dragon's - The Tullus Project
We collaborated with the artist to conceptualize, design, and execute the full visual world surrounding
-> The Tullus Project.
The objective was to create a cohesive aesthetic system – spanning from identity design to moving image — that visually represents the intersection of artificial intelligence, organic decay, and post-human narrative.
The process began through an iterative visual exploration using Midjourney and Runway to prototype ideas for the album’s visual language. Initial still images were generated based on narrative keywords developed in tandem with the artist, reflecting the project’s central motifs: synthetic memory, fungal intelligence, and recursive communication.
Each generation underwent multiple rounds of refinement, adjusting composition, texture, and lighting to achieve the precise fusion of bio-organic and machine-based design that defines the Clean Error visual identity.
Image Generation:
Base imagery and moodboards were produced through Midjourney, with scenes prompted around architectural AI structures, decayed data cores, and mycelial computation systems.
Animation:
Core motion sequences were developed in Runway and later composited and refined in Adobe Premiere Pro, combining AI-driven animation with traditional post-production workflows for enhanced precision and timing.
AI Iteration + Feedback Loop:
After initial compositing, manipulated stills were reintroduced into Runway and Google Veo 3 for secondary generation. This recursive feedback loop allowed AI systems to reinterpret previously altered imagery, producing hybrid visual layers that extended the narrative logic of The Tullus Project.
Post-Production & Photo Manipulation:
Final sequences were color-graded, detailed, and polished manually in Premiere Pro and Photoshop, achieving the desired tension between synthetic artifacting and organic realism.
Port Rhombus also developed the artist’s logo system, merging circuit-like geometry with biological flow to visually anchor the project’s identity. The logo was designed as both a static emblem and an animated data glyph within the album’s visual environment.

The result is a fully integrated audiovisual identity — one that fuses AI generation, human design intuition, and narrative cohesion. Through Port Rhombus’s process, The Tullus Project embodies the ongoing conversation between creator and system: Where the signal bends, meaning begins. We wrote more about the project here.
